- Is Rykasc Dco registered?
- Yes. The firm is JIDA registered and recognised, holds CIDB G6 contractor registration through Rykasc Construction Sdn. Bhd., and the founder is an associate member of MIID. All three are independently verifiable.
- Do you cover design and construction, or design only?
- Both. Design, construction and bespoke carpentry sit in three companies under common ownership. They can be commissioned together under one contract or separately.
- Where is your studio?
- At 27-01, Jalan Bestari 4/2, Taman Nusa Bestari, 79150 Nusajaya, Johor — a short drive from central Johor Bahru and close to the second link.
- Which parts of Johor do you work in?
- Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri, Nusajaya, Skudai, Kulai, Mount Austin and wider Johor including Kluang. We have also delivered corporate work outside the state.
- Do I need council approval for my renovation?
- You need approval when work affects structure, façade, footprint or the approved layout. Finishes and loose furniture generally do not. Strata properties additionally require management corporation consent.
- How long does a project take?
- Design and documentation typically runs six to ten weeks, construction three to five months depending on scope and property size, with approvals and imported material lead times on top.
- Can you work with me if I live in Singapore?
- Yes, and we do regularly. Structured reporting, dated site photography and milestone sign-offs scheduled around your crossings are standard for those projects.
- Do you provide a warranty?
- Work is covered under a defect liability period during which we return to rectify defects. The duration is stated in your contract and varies with scope.
